Manton Primary School began their comenius project in 2005. The school then set up this website in co-ordination with their partner schools. The project ended in 2008 and during this year Manton Primary School was awarded  'International School' status, recognising the outstanding international work that went on at the school. This work was also recognised as a strength of the school by OFSTED.

We would like to recognise and thank Bill Ball for all his dedication towards our International work.

At the beginning of 2009 Manton Primary school closed and was joined with another local school called Ryton Park Primary School. To become the largest primary school in the area.

In 2010 work began on the construction of our new primary school building. This will bring the 3 school sites together in one building. The school is due to be completed by September 2011.
